I took a trip to Naples, Florida last year and as I walked on the white sandy beach, a large flock of birds flew to the shore.  It was a chaotic mass of birds decending upon the shoreline creating a mesmerizing scene of glory and spectacle.  It was my intention to paint each bird's personality into the painting to show how even in a swirl of birds, there is unique qualities in each one of them.
