This is my original oil painting of the pier. One evening, I was eating dinner overlooking the ocean near the Oak Island pier in North Carolina and this beautiful sunset appeared in the sky.  I was so amazed by all the pink and purple in the sky that I knew this would be a picture I had to paint.
